Africa Healthcare Network Tanzania Hiring Biomedical Engineer 
Responsible for testing, installing, calibrating, maintaining, and repairing dialysis machines, RO systems, and other medical equipment utilized in AHN dialysis facilities to assure patient care quality and efficacy.
Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot issues with RO systems, dialysis machines, and other medical equipment used by the clinical team.
Develop an in-depth understanding of the area of dialysis, specifically the numerous machinery and components required to design and operate a dialysis system.
Understand the different Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Nipro, Fresenius, and Baxter/Gambro dialysis equipment, including the changes across manufacturers.
Collaborate with other medical professionals, including physicians and nurses, as well as end users (patients and their attendants).
Training technical or clinical personnel on equipment use and maintenance.
Organizing a scheduled maintenance routine for all equipment and responding to emergency breakdowns and repairs to keep it performing at its optimum.
Ensure that any normal tasks necessary inside the centers are conducted as needed, such as loop disinfection.
Review clinical reports from assigned facilities to verify that all BME concerns are handled.
Inspect and repair equipment and machinery at the corporate or hospital location.
Responding to concerns reported on the ground according to the TAT criteria.
Think critically to tackle complicated technical challenges.
Assist with various engineering and technical issues as they arise, including the installation and maintenance of ICT equipment.
Liaise and maintain connections with device makers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
Execute any additional engineer duties allocated to you.
Desired Competencies:
Degree in biomedical engineering, biomedical science, mechanical/electrical engineering, or similar fields.
familiar with health and safety/quality requirements.
Excellent grasp of Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent problem-solving skills
