Location: Head Office-Dar es Salaam
The bank is looking for a mobile app developer to design and manage mobile apps for Android, iOS, and Windows. The duties involve studying UI and UX trends, upgrading existing apps, and collaborating with colleagues to come up with novel concepts for new applications.
Key responsibilities
Mobile App Responsibilities:
Design and create bank mobile apps.
Monitor the whole application development lifecycle (design, testing, support, and release) and optimize features according to standards.
Create and prepare releases for dynamic application components.
Develop cross-platform apps for Android, iOS, and Windows, among other platforms.
Focus on software analysis, troubleshooting, and debugging.
Create interfaces that increase UX.
Integrate mobile apps.
Designing and building APIs.
Web Developer Responsibilities:
Creating front-end website architecture.
Designing user interactions for web sites.
Create back-end website apps.
Creating servers and databases to provide functionality.
Ensure cross-platform optimization for mobile phones.
Ensure that apps are responsive.
Working with graphic designers on site design aspects.
Managing a project from start to conclusion.
Designing and building APIs.
Meeting technological and consumer demands.
Keeping up with the latest web application and programming language advances.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, BSC electronics and telecommunications engineering, artificial intelligence, actuarial science, data science, or other IT-related subjects. Must have at least four (4) years of experience in the banking, IT, or financial industries.
Proficient in appropriate computer languages for Android, iOS, and Windows devices.
A collection of apps you’ve developed or contributed to.
The ability to multitask.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
Proficiency in core front-end languages including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience with JavaScript frameworks like Angular JS, React, and Amber.
Proficient in server-side languages including Python, Ruby, and Java. Knowledge of database technologies such as MySQL, Oracle, and MS SQL.
Excellent verbal communication abilities.
Good problem-solving abilities.
Pay attention to detail.
Number of initiatives fueled by machine learning.
Timely delivery of the Big Data and Machine Learning initiatives as outlined on the roadmap
Revenue growth and client conversion rates
Quality of support and stakeholder alignment.
