Qualifications and Experience Needed
Subjects Available:
- History and Kiswahili
- History and English
- Mathematics with Physics
Location: Bunju, Dar es Salaam
At least 3 years of teaching experience in the mentioned subjects.
Familiar with secondary school teaching.
Proven experience working with secondary students.
Strong verbal and written skills in the relevant subject.
Excellent communication and organization skills.
Good time management and able to handle pressure.
Must be comfortable with using computers.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Education specializing in one of the subjects listed.
Ability to bring cultural and language activities into lessons.
Fluent English speaker with great communication skills.
Experience using creative and engaging teaching methods.
Enthusiastic about creating a fun and supportive learning environment.
Science teachers (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) should manage and use lab equipment effectively.
Additional training in International Languages is a plus.
Main Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and supervise classroom activities and lessons.
Keep a daily record of lessons, student attendance, and activities.
Teach students at different skill levels in the subjects.
Use a communicative teaching approach.
Help students build social, cultural, and teamwork skills.
Join and support extracurricular activities.
