JOB VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
The Secretary of the Public Service Recruitment Secretariat, on behalf of MDAs & LGAs, invites job applications from qualified and competent Tanzanians to fill 1,086 vacant positions as specified in this announcement.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
All applicants must be citizens of the United Republic of Tanzania and must not exceed 45 years of age. However, for positions within Military Institutions:
Applicants for non-degree positions must not exceed 25 years of age.
Applicants for degree positions must not exceed 30 years of age.
Applicants with disabilities are encouraged to apply and should indicate their disability in the recruitment system for the information of the Public Service Recruitment Secretariat.
All applicants must attach a birth certificate certified by an Advocate/Lawyer.
Applicants who are currently employed in the Public Service should NOT apply and must adhere to the instructions outlined in Circular No. CAC45/257/01/D/140 dated 30 November 2010.
All applications must be accompanied by academic certificates, detailed CV, and copies of certificates certified by an Advocate/Lawyer, including birth certificates and certificates of completion of various training programs in accordance with the relevant job qualifications, namely:
Postgraduate/Degree/Advanced Diploma/Diploma/Certificates
Professional certificates from respective boards
Testimonials, Provisional Results, Statement of Results, Form IV and Form VI Results Slips WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
Applicants who studied outside Tanzania must ensure that their certificates are verified and approved by the relevant authorities (TCU, NECTA, and NACTVET). Applicants for cadres requiring a GPA who studied outside Tanzania must attach a GPA equivalency certificate from TCU.
Applicants who have retired from the Public Service are not allowed to apply unless they have permission from the Chief Secretary.
Submission of false information and forged qualifications will result in legal action being taken against the applicant.
The deadline for submitting job applications is 27 February, 2026.
