400 Names selected: Positions for contract teachers of Business Studies

The President’s Office – Regional Administration and Local Government (PO-RALG/TAMISEMI), in collaboration with Educate! Tanzania through a project aimed at improving the teaching and learning of Business Studies, is implementing an intervention to improve the teaching and learning of Business Studies.

The Office announced 400 positions for volunteer (contract) teachers of Business Studies to serve secondary schools with a high demand for teachers in the following regions: Arusha, Kilimanjaro, Manyara, Simiyu, Kagera, Geita, Tabora, Dodoma, Morogoro, Pwani, and Dar es Salaam.

The objective of this project is to facilitate the implementation of the Education and Training Policy of 2014, 2023 edition, and the improved Secondary Education Curriculum, which provides for the teaching of Business Studies with the aim of increasing students’ entrepreneurship skills.

The President’s Office – Regional Administration and Local Government (PO-RALG/TAMISEMI) announces the names of volunteer teachers who have met the required criteria to teach Business Studies in secondary schools on a contract basis.

All teachers who have been assigned schools where they will teach are required to report to their respective stations (schools) and begin work between 1st and 14th October 2026. After this period has elapsed, any vacant position will be filled by another eligible applicant.

The names of the selected volunteer teachers who have been assigned to secondary schools to teach Business Studies are available through the ajira.tamisemi.go.tz link and also through the official TAMISEMI website at www.tamisemi.go.tz.
