Advocacy and Policy Work: Advocating for policies that protect children's rights and promote their well-being, working with governments, communities, and partners to create sustainable changes. UNICEF is funded entirely by voluntary contributions from governments, non-governmental organizations, foundations, and individuals. It is known for its strong emphasis on child rights, as outlined in the Convention on the Rights of the Child, which guides much of its work.
