PO-RALG Announces 400 Contract Teaching Positions for Business Studies Teachers in Secondary Schools
Prime Minister’s Office – Regional Administration and Local Government (PO-RALG), in collaboration with Educate! Tanzania through the Teaching and Learning Improvement Project for Business Studies, is implementing an initiative to improve the teaching and learning of Business Studies. The Office hereby announces 400 volunteer teaching positions (contract-based) for Business Studies teachers in secondary schools with high demand in the following regions: Arusha, Kilimanjaro, Manyara, Simiyu, Kagera, Geita, Tabora, Dodoma, Morogoro, Pwani, and Dar es Salaam.
The objective of this project is to support the implementation of the Education and Training Policy of 2014 (2023 Edition) and the improved Secondary Education Curriculum, which emphasizes the teaching of Business Studies in order to enhance students’ entrepreneurial skills.
Therefore, graduates holding a Bachelor’s Degree from government-recognized institutions are invited to apply for these volunteer teaching positions in Business Studies at secondary schools that will be listed through the Official Recruitment Application System of the Prime Minister’s Office – PO-RALG.
The application period is from 1 June to 14 June 2026. Volunteer teachers (on contract) who meet the required qualifications will be assigned and supervised by the Local Government Authorities (LGAs).
